A member of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, representing Shinkafi State Constituency, Muhammad Jangeru, is dead.
Honourable Jangeru was reportedly killed by unknown gunmen last night along the Scheme – Gusau Road while the 2 other occupants in his vehicle were abducted by the armed men to an unknown location.

The murder of Honourable Muhammad Jangeru was confirmed by the Director-General Public Relations of the state’s Assembly, Mustapha Jaafaru.
Jaafaru said the 57 year old law maker was shot dead by the armed men after the grand rally to receive Governor Bello Mohammed into the All Progressives Congress, APC on his way to Kano.
The Assembly member is one of the high ranking and vibrant members of the state’s House of Assembly.
Muhammad Jangeru, until his demise, was the Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriations in the Zamfara State House of Assembly.
