Suspected armed robbers have allegedly broken into a mosque within the Katsina metropolis and stole a generating set and some ceiling fans.
A source in the area who confirmed the development, said the incident which occurred at Unguwar Lambobi, Tudun ‘Yan Lihidda, within the metropolis, saw the suspected robbers carting away 4 of the mosques’ ceiling fans.
It was also gathered that the only items left untouched by the suspected robbers are the caskets for burial, nylon praying mats, amplifier, and wall clock, among others.
