Ten Suspects have been arrested by the military at Olota Community in Ughelli South local government area of Delta state following the killings of military personnel in Okuama, Delta State.
AIT gathered that the suspects were arrested on Thursday, after the army conducted a cordon and search operation on the community.
Locals from the community have alleged that the army’s operation led to the destruction of houses and properties belonging to vulnerable villagers.
A senior army personnel who spoke on anonymity, however confirmed the invasion of the community by troops to AIT but denied any form of harassment or intimidation.
According to him those persons taken away would be interrogated.
In the meantime, the recent military invasion on Olota community has caused anxiety among villagers in nearby Okparabe
