Officers and men of the Nigerian Army have been told to conduct operations in line with international standard.
This was made known by the chief of Army staff in Jos during a church service to commemorate the 2022 Nigerian army day celebration.
The army chief also assured families of soldiers who paid the supreme price in the line of duty, that they will not be forgotten.
The presiding priest in his message, echoed on the need for contentment while in the service of their fatherland.

The chief of army staff Lt. Gen Faruk Yahaya, who spoke on the need for men of the Nigerian army to conduct their operations in line with human rights laws , assured that the army was undergoing transformation to position it to face the security challenges bedeviling the country.
Prayers were offered for officers and men of the army as well as those who paid the supreme price .
