The Nigerian Army has enjoined the public to disregard what it describes as false and misleading publication on the use of military to enforce lockdown on Friday, March 27.
A statement by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations Colonel Musa Sagir says the Nigerian Army dissociates itself from the speculation designed to create panic and disaffection in the society.

Colonel Sagir notes that the publication is a negative misinterpretion of a proactive classified document for the Nigerian Army to prepare for possible escalation of the Coronavirus global pandemic.
The statement stressed that the information insinuating that the government is locking down the entire country on Friday is false and baseless.
