The Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB has arraigned the chairman of the kano state public complain and anti graft commission Muhuyi Magaji over allegations of non declaration of some bank accounts, abuse of office among others.
This was made known in a statement by the bureau which noted that Magaji was arraigned on ten count charge bordering on corruption allegations at the code of conduct tribunal.
The bureau added that its investigation showed that kano state anti graft boss failed to declare Three hundred and ninety four million naira in a bank account bearing his name, thus raising suspicion.
The defendant was however granted bail in the sum of five million naira and two sureties in like sum, who own properties in the Federal Capital Territory.
The case was however adjourned to 10th of January 2024.
