The Progressives Governors (PGF) has appealed to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to suspend its 7 months old nationwide strike in the interest of students and the country at large.
Chairman of the forum and Governor of Kebbi State Atiku Bagudu made the appeal on Tuesday while speaking to state house correspondents after a separate meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo at the State house Abuja.

Governor Bagudu reminded the Lecturers and stakeholders of the implications of their actions which he says may affect the country’s image among the comity of nations.
The Governors who visited the VP to felicitate with him after a successful surgery last month underscored the need for Nigerians to have confidence on the nation’s healthcare professionals.
