Troops of the Joint Task Force North West Operation Hadarin Daji, (OPHD), have arrested eleven terrorists in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State in Northwest Nigeria.

A top military source said among those arrested were the logistics suppliers who supply various items to terrorist kingpin Halilu Sububu, at Kwanar Boko, in the Zurmi LGA.

The eleven suspects were arrested while conveying 127 bags of grains in two canter trucks, belonging to terrorist Kingpin Halilu Sububu.

The troops also cleared terrorist hideouts at Gidan Jaja, in Zurmi LGA of the state.

The troop’s efforts and intensified dry-season continuous clearance and offensive operations in its Areas of Responsibility have continued to yield positive results.

In another development, the troops have successfully rescued thirteen kidnapped persons in the Maru LGA of the state.
