The Senator representing Kaduna South, Danjuma La’ah, has frowned at the abduction of the paramount ruler of the Ham nation, Kpop Ham Danladi Maude, late on Monday.
The Kpop Ham was said to have been abducted from his farm in Gitata, a border community in Nasarawa State, along with one other person, believed to be his aide.
Senator La’ah urged security operatives to take proactive measures, to ensure that the monarch returns to his palace safely.
He said that the people of Southern Kaduna, are tired of the unabating killings of the innocent people, abduction of religious and traditional rulers, by armed bandits, which is posing a threat to peace and security of the area.
He urged government at all levels, to facilitate the safe release of the monarch, and address the situation, before it gets out of hand.
La’ah also called on the people of Southern Kaduna to be law-abiding and remain calm, as they anticipate the safe return of the monarch.
The palace of the abducted monarch is situated at the, headquarters of Jaba Local Government Area Of Kaduna State, and he is the chief custodian of the Nok culture, which has thousands of years of the history of civilization in Africa, and beyond.
