Bauchi State 10th Assembly has Re-elected Abubakar Suleiman a member representing Ningi as Speaker of the Assembly.
Abubakar Suleiman alongside his Deputy, Jamilu Dahiru emerged unopposed during the process.
The process of the Election witnessed a peaceful atmosphere and was chaired by Clerk of the House.
Mubarak Haruna a member representing Jamare moved for the Nomination of Abubakar Suleiman as Speaker and seconded by Auwal Hassan leading to the emergence of the Speaker unopposed.
At the same time, Jamilu Dahiru a member representing Bauchi Central was elected Deputy speaker through the same process.

Both of them took the oath of office as Speaker and Deputy speaker respectively after which the Speaker gave a short Address.
The New speaker Abubakar Suleiman thereafter presided over the Inauguration of the Members elect.
Speaking with some Newly inaugurated members, across party lines, they reaffirmed their loyalty to work in synergy in the 10th assembly.
Bauchi state House of Assembly has a total of 31 members, 22 elected under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, 8 All Progressive Congress, APC, while 1 was elected under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP.
