The only female aspirant for the Bauchi Federal Constituency seat on the All Progressives Congress platform, Badiatu Inuwa, has rejected the outcome of the party’s House of Representatives primary election.
She alleged that the exercise did not take place anywhere within the constituency, describing the process as deeply flawed and marred by irregularities.

Speaking through her supporter, Badiatu Inuwa alleged that no election actually took place in the Bauchi Local Government Federal Constituency.
Her supporters claim they waited for hours at the designated venue with no election officials in sight, noting that the development severely undermines internal democracy and disenfranchises thousands of loyal party members across the constituency.
Efforts to obtain comments from the Bauchi State leadership of the APC were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
No official announcement has been made regarding the winner of the Federal Constituency primary.
