Governor Bala Mohammed, said this while presiding over the swearing-in of the state’s Head of the Civil Service, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, alongside twenty-two newly appointed Permanent Secretaries selected on merit.
He called on them to use their wealth of experience to rescue the lost glory of the service.
Governor Bala Mohammed explained that his administration inherited a large chunk of ghost workers and leakages in the civil service and urged the appointees, as accounting officers in the state, to assist the government fight the menace.

Speaking on behalf of the appointees, the new Head of Service, Yahuza Adamu, thanked the Governor for the appointment, pledging their unalloyed loyalty and support to the present administration.
