The Police in Bauchi have arrested forty-year-old Ibrahim Umar, suspected to be a ritualist, who killed two of his casual workers, Kabiru Idi and Bato Ali, in the Gamawa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Ahmed Wakili, during a press conference.
Among the suspects paraded was a forty-year-old man of Dankunkuru Village, Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State, Ibrahim Umar, who was allegedly involved in the abduction and disappearance of Kabiru Idi and Bato Ali of Taranka Village of Gamawa Local Government, who were later found dead and buried in a shallow grave.
The suspect, Ibrahim Umar, has denied the allegations against him, despite a bottle of a substance suspected to be human blood, found in his residence by the police, during the investigation.
One of the deceased’s father, who is still in trauma, narrates how he identified the corpse of his late son.

While commiserating and condoling with the families of the victims, the police reiterate the need for parents and guardians to always monitor the activities of their children and wards.
