Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has flagged off the construction of over sixty two kilometres road construction projects across communities of two local government areas of Kirfi and Alkaleri in Bauchi State.
Inaugurating the projects , Governor Bala Mohammed said the move was to link the rural communities and ease movements of goods towards economic growth and development of the state.
The communities of Kirfi and Alkaleri local government areas of Bauchi state are set to benefit from the Bala Mohammed Roads Transformation initiative with the Flagging Off of the over 62 Kilometres infrastructure.
Bala Mohammed said the Idea is to open up opportunities in the communities by attracting more investors for improving socio economic activities in line with the governor’s rural strive.
He used the opportunity to call on the benefiting communities to be mindful in allocation of lands to strangers, considering security challenges and other anti social behaviour.
Some Members of the benefiting communities applauded the Bala Mohammed led administrations for considering their plights and assured their support for the present administration.
On their part, the contractors handling the projects promised to deliver quality work in line with contract specification.
