The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, has charged the newly crowned National Female Under 18 Handball Champions, to be more focused as they step up preparations ahead of the world championship later this year.
Governor Douye Diri made this known when he hosted the team in Yenagoa, after their victorious outing in the just concluded National championship in Lagos State.

Diri who announced the government’s plans for the team urged the athletes to remain, good ambassadors, just as the coach and his team are already setting their sights on the world championship.
