Presenting the proposed project at the meeting, the Head of Operations Chris Michelle, said the specifications of meters they intend to assemble were unique and will meet the Nigeria Electricity Regulation Company NERC standards.
Governor Diri, who expressed optimism over the positive impacts the partnership will generate in the state, also assured the Chinese firm of enabling ground to enable them to deliver on their targets.
This development is coming just a week after the state government entered a power purchase agreement with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board to enable low-cost power supply to some public institutions, including the government house complex from the NCDMB 10megawatts gas power plant in the state.
