The crisis facing the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as a result of last year’s Presidential primary election may be taking its toll on the two neighbouring states of Bayelsa and Rivers.
This is as the Rivers State Government has commenced the demolition of the property belonging to Bayelsa state at Number 5 and 9 Akassa Street at the old GRA in Port Harcourt.

Speaking to journalists in Yenagoa, the state’s Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Esau Andrew said, the eviction notice was issued just two weeks ago by the Rivers state authorities, describing the action as unfortunate and unfair to Bayelsa state.
