Bayelsa State Born Table Tennis rising Star, Samuel Boboye has said he will be aiming for greater glory when the 2022 ITTF World Youth Championships and the National Sports Festival kick off in November and December this year.
The table tennis star won gold medal at the just concluded under – 19 international table tennis championships in Tunisia.

The 18 Year old expressed the confidence in Yenagoa when he was formally received by the State Sports Council at a welcome ceremony organized by the Bayelsa State Table Tennis Association in recognition of his feat in the North African country.
The Director of Sports in Bayelsa State, Sir Braveman Wodi and the Chairman of Table Tennis Association in the State, Ama – Ebi Ebikpolade who congratulated the table tennis gold medalist said the state has put in place structures aimed at raising younger table tennis players that will bring laurels to the State and represent Nigeria in future national and international sports competitions.
Boboye who hails from Ekeremor Town in Ekeremor Local Government of Bayelsa State is the present captain of the State Table Tennis team.
