Players of the recently concluded Beach Soccer Super-Four League are optimistic about the development of the game in Nigeria, following the Nigeria Football Federation’s, (NFF) takeover.
The players expressed optimism during the finals of the Beach Soccer Super-Four League in Kaduna.
After three days of entertaining beach soccer at Murtala Square, Kaduna, Kebbi Beach Soccer Club emerged victorious, with six points.
They were followed by the first runners-up, Anambra Beach Soccer Club, with four points.
Kebbi United Beach Soccer Club secured the third place with three points, while Kada Beach Soccer Club finished at the bottom, with one point.

Obiekene Timothy, Captain of Kebbi Beach Soccer Club, expressed his happiness over the NFF’s takeover.
Other players have called for state-level mini-competitions, to further develop the game.
Following the conclusion of the Super-Four Beach Soccer League, players from the tournament will be selected to form the National Team.
