The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and his wife, Eunice, have cast their votes in the Presidential and National Assembly elections at Tse Ortom, Ndzorov Council Ward.
The Governor is the PDP senatorial candidate for Benue North West senatorial district.
The Polling Unit has been relocated to Government Science and Technical College, Gbajimba township because of the security situation in the area.

Voting starting a bit late, at about 9:17 am. The Governor described the process as seamless but looks forward to a day when voting will be done electronically.
Ortom was impressed with the turnout of voters so far.
20 polling units are within the premises of the technical college due to insecurity.
Voters are mostly internally displaced persons within Guma local government area where the Governor hails from.
