Local Government Council Chairmen in Benue State, North-Central Nigeria have been challenged to leave indelible prints in their respective areas by resisting the temptation to make excuses despite paucity of funds.
Governor Samuel Ortom threw the challenge in Gboko Local Government Area where he commissioned the Gboko Modern Market which was rehabilitated by the Council Chairman, Isaac Mtom.
The Gboko Modern Market which was built in 1993 had rarely been maintained until the facelift by Mtom-led administration in the Local Government.

Emulate this example was the strong message the Governor sent to other Local Government Chairmen.
The Gboko Traditional Council conferred the chieftancy title of Ishima I Gboko meaning the Heart of Gboko on Governor Ortom while his wife, Eunice was honoured with the Afa Ishima I Gboko as the Council Chairman received the title of Asortar U Gboko.
