The Benue State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC Benue State command has paraded, seven suspects for various criminal offences.
Some of the suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from conspiracy,human trafficking and suspected cases of fertilizer diversion as well as adulteration of different brand of fertilizers.
Fertiliser is one product that is very high in demand in Benue which is the nation’s food basket and whose residents are predominantly farmers.
No wonder these five suspects found it lucrative to not only divert the product but adulterate it.

15 year old Mirabel Ahemba and these four others reportedly trafficked to Burkina Faso by these two suspects who were arrested in Gboko local government area of the State.
The State Commandant enlightened parents and guardians on the dangers involved in giving out their wards to acclaimed helpers.
