As controversy continues to brew regarding the distribution or non-distribution of CACOVID palliatives, the Benue State government has allowed newsmen into its facilities to prove it is not hoarding large quantities of the said commodity as is being alleged.
Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Emmanuel Shior, took newsmen around the agency’s warehouses within Makurdi, the State capital.
The recent discovery of CACOVID palliatives stashed away in warehouses in some parts of the country has continued to generate suspicion,rumour peddling,as well as controversy here in Benue State.
Many took to their social media accounts insinuating that the said palliatives were being hoarded by the state government.

An allegation the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, the initial custodian of the food items, denied.
From its central warehouse within the agency’s premises to another at the industrial layout to a third on the Zaaki Azzay street the Executive secretary tried to put the records straight.
