As part of measures to ensure improved land administration in Benue State, North-Central Nigeria, the authorities have assured residents of a seamless transition from manual to digital platform as the multi-billion Naira office complex nears completion.
Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Solid Minerals, Bernard Unenge gave the assurance during a tour of the gigantic Benue Geographic Information Service, BENGIS office complex in Makurdi, the state capital.

Project Manager, Mario Bajouk who gave an insight into the project says it has reached 70 to 75 percent completion.
Earlier the team took the newsmen round the temporal office were the digitalisation has commenced but on a small scale.
In a few months when the gigantic edifice will be completed to facilitate digital land administration in the State it will be a win-win for both the government and residents.
