Bob Marley’s grandson, Mersa dies in car of asthmatic attack at 31

Bod Marley's grandson, Joseph Mersa

Joseph Mersa Marley who is the grandson of popular reggae legend, Bob Marley has died at the age of 31.

The Jamaican-American reggae artist who was known by the stage name Jo Mersa, was reportedly found unresponsive in a vehicle on December 27, 2022

Joseph who according to reports had suffered from asthma his entire life, is suspected to have died from the asthma attack.

Mersa spent his early years in Jamaica, where he attended school, before moving to Florida to study studio engineering. In 2014 he released the EP Comfortable and in 2021 he came out with Eternal.

Joseph Mersa Marley is the grandson of Bob Marley and the son of Stephen Marley. Bob, who died of cancer in 1981 at the age of 36, is widely considered thy pioneer of reggae music.
