The Runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja has been temporarily shut following the incident involving a Max Air aircraft that suffered a burst tire which resulted in fire upon landing at the Airport.
The aircraft was said to have taken off from Yola Airport when the tire burst into flames on landing at Abuja Airport.

This situation led to panic among passengers in the aircraft as the pilot assured them of safety.
The Aerodrome Rescue and fire fighting services at the airport were swiftly mobilized to put off the fire and passengers were successfully disembarked.
