Breaking News: INEC To Conduct Fresh Re-Run Elections In 16 Polling Units In Jos

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will conduct fresh elections in Sixteen polling units within Jos North local Government area of the state on Sunday.

This was disclosed by the Resident Electoral Commissioner for INEC Oliver Agundu, on Saturday evening after a Stakeholders Meeting in Jos.

The electoral empire cited a shortage of ballot papers during the Saturday’s Re-run election in Plateau North as the reason behind this decision.

Agundu, stated that the commission is actively probing the cause of the ballot paper shortage Of the Sixteen affected units, located in Tudun Wada/Kabong and Naraguta B Wards, both situated in Jos North.

Agundu, further assured, that the elections will hold in all the locations mentioned tomorrow, February 4th 2024. to ensure that no one is disenfranchised.
