The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC is reporting 296 new Covid-19 infections in 15 states report. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now to 55,456.
Nigeria’s new epicentre, Plateau State has recorded 183 new Covid-19 cases; Lagos-33; FCT-25; Ogun-16; Oyo-7; Ekiti-6; Kwara and Ondo-5 each; Anambra, Imo and Nasarawa-3 each; Rivers, Gombe and Edo-2 each; Akwa Ibom-1.

There are 103 more Covid-19 patients who have recovered from the infection across Nigeria. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases in the country to 43,334.
Meanwhile, 6 new Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours have taken the national casualty figure since the outbreak in Nigeria to 1,067.
