Nine occupants of two vehicles involved in head-on collision near Mogadishu Cantonment along AYA axis of the Abuja-Keffi Expressway are in critical condition at the Asokoro District Hospital.
The accident occurred about 8pm on Sunday when the driver of Sports Utility Honda CRV vehicle drove against traffic facing Abuja-bound vehicles and frontally hit the overloaded Volkwagen Golf car, which was reportedly headed to Zuba.
As it is a weekend with light vehicular traffic on the route, rescuers were able to promptly evacuate all badly injured occupants of both vehicles to the hospital.

An FRSC official was at the accident scene assessing the damage to both vehicles and directing traffic.
