Breaking: President Tinubu assigns portfolios to Ministers-Designate

President Tinubu

President Tinubu has released portfolios of Ministers-Designate with Nyesom Wike assigned to Federal Capital Territory Abuja; Festus Keyamo – Aviation; Adebayo Adelabu – Power; and Adegboyega Oyetola – Transportation.

Other assigned Ministers-Designate are Dele Alake – Solid Minerals; Muhammed Idris – Information; Mohammed Badaru – Defence; Bello Mattawale – Minister of State for Defence; Dave Umahi – Works

Wale Edun will be sworn-in as Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy while Professor Ali Pate will be Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare

Minister of Agriculture and Food Security will be Abubakar Kyari while Sabi Abdullahi is Minister of State; Abubakar Mohmoh – Youths with John Eno to be in charge of Sports

Bosun Tijani – Minister of Communications and Digital Economy; Yusuf Tuggar – Foreign Affairs; Atiku Bagudu – Budget and Economic Planning and Professor Joseph Utsev – Water Resources and Sanitation

Others include Shuaibu Audu – Steel Development; Doris Anieete – Trade and Investment; Simon Lalong – Labour and Employment; with Nkeiru Onyejeocha as Minister of State for Labour and Employment

Betta Edu assigned Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation; Bunmi Tunji Ojo- Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy; Shuaibu Audu – Steel Development; and Zephaniah Jisalo – Special Duties

Lola Adejo will be Minister of Tourism while Ahmed Dangiwa is assigned to Housing and Urban Development and Uju Kennedy to Women Affairs

President Tinubu has not assigned Ministers-Designate to Ministry of Petroleum Resources and Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management
