Thugs have attacked members of Kabiru Turaki-led interim leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP at the A- Class Venue Centre, in Wuse II District of Abuja, the nation’s capital, leaving everyone to scamper for safety.
The group had stopped at the Centre to access the situation and also brief the media after they were barred from holding their special national convention there to affirm former President Goodluck Jonathan as their consensus presidential candidate.

The party chieftains were returning from the special national convention which they had hurriedly held at the party’s office in Area 10 of Garki District in Abuja, affirming Jonathan as their consensus presidential candidate.
