British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has survived a No- Confidence Vote by members of his Conservative Party.
In a 211 to 148 vote, Johnson, who has faced backlash from within his party and from other members of Parliament received 58.8 percent in favor of him remaining as party leader and in effect, the Prime Minister.
Over forty- one percent of Conservative MPs wanted him to step down in a vote in which every single MP from the party cast a ballot.
Johnson has been dogged by controversy since the report on the Corona Virus Party Gate scandal was released.
He has been blamed by some for the rising cost of living in Britain.
Only at the weekend, he was whistled by scores who had converged around the grounds of the Buckingham Palace for the 70th anniversary of the Queen Elizabeth the Second’s coronation.
