President Muhammadu Buhari has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for the developmental strides recorded by his administration in Imo State.
The President made the commendation during his one-day visit to commission some projects executed by the Governor.

Upon arrival via Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the president proceeded to commission some of the projects lined up for the day.
The first was the Naze Ihiagwa Poly Road, then the Balloon Technology Drainage Tunnel.
During the commissioning of the Egbeada, Amakohia Bypass, the President commended Governor Uzodimma for giving the state a face-lift.
For the governor, his administration will continue to ensure that the dividends of democracy are enjoyed by the people of the state.
The President later had a closed-door meeting with some southeast stakeholders at the Government House.
Some dignitaries that graced the event were Ebony State Governor Dave Umahi, Abia State Deputy Governor Ude Chukwu, Ebitu Ukiwe, the Minister of Mines, and Steel Uche Oga, the President Ohanaeze Ndigbo George Obiozor, among others.
