President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled his Cote D’Ivoire counterpart, Alassane Ouattara, over the death of that country’s Prime Minister, Amadou Coullibay.
President Buhari in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, noted that Coulibaly’s leadership, political, and business acumen, working in support of President Ouattara, epitomized the success story of the economy and the return of peace and stability to Cote d’Ivoire.

Sixty-one year old Coulibally was the ruling party’s candidate for this October’s presidential election.
