South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived in the Presidential Villa Abuja, on a State visit to Nigeria.
He was received at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa by President Muhammadu Buhari at 09:02am On Wednesday.
Shortly after receiving his guest, President Buhari led him to the dais, where they posed for the National anthem of both countries.
After that, there was a brief performance by the Guards Brigade Band, followed in quick succession by the ceremonial 21 gun salute in honour of the visiting President.

There was also a brief cultural display by members of the Nigerian National Troupe, who entertained Ramaphosa and his delegation.
The two Presidents later went into a closed door session to discuss bilateral issues.
They will later address a joint press conference, where they are expected to reveal some of the decisions reached at the closed session.
In view of the State visit by the South African leader, the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting will not hold today.
