Chairman, Niger State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Most Reverend Bulus Yohanna, has Raised alarm over continued state of insecurity in the country notung that no one is safe again.

According to him, insecurity, hardship, and unfulfilled promises by leaders are the major problems that have bedevilled Nigeria over the years.

Bishop Yohanna, who is also the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese, made the disclosure during the Council meeting of CAN at the State Secretariat in Minna.

He expressed worry over the way foreign nationals are sending warnings to their citizens not to visit some states and to even leave Abuja, the nation’s capital, for fear of attacks.

According to Bishop Yohanna, who is safe and where in Nigeria can one boast of safety? Nigerian military Generals and senior security officers of our country can be killed, then who cannot be killed?

He further revealed that there are several cases of kidnappings, abductions, killings, destruction of houses, markets, and farm produce that are even burnt and carted away by these terrorists.

The CAN chairman then cautioned that, with the leaked memo from the Nigeria Customs Service on planned attacks on the government’s facilities and even military bases, everyone must be vigilant, security cautious, and pray to God to deliver our nation.
