It was rush for salvation for all the Catholic and non Catholic faithful in Calabar as they tropped out in their hundreds to be part of special prayers for unity and secure Nigeria, following the appearance of Virgin Mary at St L’wanga Parish of the Church.
The Presiding Priest of St Lwanga parish ,Reverend Father Malachy Ephraim , who described the appearance of the Virgin Mary to the Church in Calabar, as a sign of Better days ahead for the Country charged christians to continue to pray for Nigeria and her leaders.
Father Malachy who led the special Prayers of hundreds of the Catholic and Non Catholic faithful, said the ray of light of the Virgin Mary which does not happen frequently was a testimony that God was with Nigeria and her citizens.

Some of the eyewitness who claimed to have seen virgin Mary’s appearance at the Church gave testimoniesmb Prayers offered to support the belief that Blessed Mary came to help Nigeria from the challenges of insecurity and Poor Governance.
It was reported Virgin Mary had on Wednesday 22nd of june,2022 appeared at one St. Charles Lwanga,Calabar.
There have been many other reports of apparition in some parts of Nigeria years back
