The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has called on President Bola Tinubu to urgently reintroduce himself to save the nation from global embarrassment caused by the controversy about his alleged certificate forgery.
The former governor of Anambra State made the call during a briefing in Abuja.
The Labour Party presidential candidate says he is worried by the controversy surrounding the certificate of President Bola Tinubu and his identity crisis that recently played out over the authenticity of the Chicago State University credentials.
He said the doubt of identity has further worsened the image of Nigeria in the international community.

He urged the President to personally brief the nation about his identity and not through aides since it is about his personal credibility.
Since Chicago State University (CSU) released the academic records of President Bola Tinubu to Atiku Abubakar, as requested, the media has been buzzing over President Tinubu’s identity and education at the university, as well as the authenticity of the copy of the certificate he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
