Nigeria’s oldest actor, AbdulSalam Sanyaolu popularly known as “Charles Olumo AGBAKO” has died at 101 years.
The Owode Ogun State born thespian in the early hours of Thursday October 31st 2024 was said to have complained of slight tiredness and had to take a nap before his passing.
His death was made public by the President Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Bolaji Amusan(Mr Latin).
Charles Olumo Agbako who was born on February 25th 1923 in Owode began his career in stage film in 1953 and acted majorly Yoruba films.
In his lifetime he acted in the movies such as “Ija Ominira”, “Saworo Ide”, “Jagun”, “Jaiyesimi”, “Taxi Driver”, “Aiye”, “Igbo Dudu” among other films.
