Chelsea produced a dominant performance to thrash Bournemouth 5-1 at Stamford Bridge, with Jordan Henderson and João Pedro scoring twice each as the Blues climbed to fifth place in the Premier League table.
Henderson, making his home debut for Chelsea, opened the scoring before setting up Morgan Rogers for the second. The hosts continued their attacking display after the break, with João Pedro extending their lead shortly after the restart.
Bournemouth pulled one back through Evanilson, but João Pedro restored Chelsea’s three-goal cushion with his second of the afternoon. Henderson then completed his brace with a superb free-kick to seal an emphatic victory for the home side.
Elsewhere, Arsenal fought back from behind to beat Leeds United 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium. Leeds took the lead through Justin, but Riccardo Calafiori equalised before substitute Bruno Guimarães scored the winner to secure all three points for the Gunners.
Aston Villa and Brentford shared the points in a 2-2 draw at Villa Park, with Brentford scoring a late equaliser through Kristoffer Ajer.

Ipswich Town also claimed a dramatic 2-1 victory over Fulham, as captain Dara O’Shea scored a stoppage-time winner to extend Fulham’s winless run.
Brighton and Hove Albion secured a 2-0 win over Sunderland despite playing with ten men following a red card for Pascal Struijk.
Attention now turns to Sunday’s fixtures, with Liverpool set to host Manchester City at Anfield in one of the weekend’s biggest clashes. Crystal Palace face Nottingham Forest, while Hull City take on Everton as Premier League action continues after the international break.
