The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Zamfara State Command, says it has deployed its officers and men to all the nooks and crannies of the state, to secure the lives and property of the residents, before, during, and after the yuletide.
The NSCDC State’s Commandant, Sani Mustapha, said this during the deployment, urging the officers and men to display professionalism and discipline while carrying out their lawful duties.
The commandant, while assuring the general public in the Command’s Area of Responsibility, said it is ready to collaborate with other sister security agencies, towards ensuring a hitch-free Christmas and New Year celebrations.
He said the corps will ensure it does its best to secure all law-abiding citizens.
Commandant Sani Mustapha, warned the personnel in the special assignment, to do it with due diligence and commitment, as no act of indolence or malingering will be tolerated.
He also appealed to the general public to report any suspected movement or act that would seem inimical to the peace of the state to relevant authorities immediately.
The NSCDC boss in Zamfara State, also wished Christians a Happy Christmas in advance and a prosperous New Year ahead.
