According to this analysis by Civic Hive, given its capabilities and supporting data to develop solutions for numerous problems faced by Nigerians, civic tech and innovation have grown in strength over the past ten years. This is also because social media and the internet have become much more popular in Nigeria in recent years, which has encouraged participation from stakeholders and individuals on civic tech platforms.
