The State Civil Defence Corps represented by the command’s spokesperson, Muhammed Abdara, during the parade and hand over of the suspects to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, said the feat was achieved through well-thought-out intelligence.
According to him, during interrogations, the suspects confessed to have been paid the sum of fifty thousand Naira to deliver the consignment to a dealer in Daura.
Both the suspects and the consignment have since been handed over to the state command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
