The Bauchi State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), has arrested and paraded suspected petroleum pipelines and rail track vandals, and one suspect was caught with fake dollar notes.
They were arrested from different locations across the state.
The State Commandant, Ilelaboye Oyejide, while parading the suspects at the Command Headquarters, said there is no hiding place for vandals and other criminals.
Five of the suspects are accused of vandalising petroleum pipelines, two for vandalising railway slippers, and one over dealing in fake foreign currency.
The Commandant said his men acted on credible intelligence which led to the arrest of the suspects, who during interviews to journalists, confessed to the crimes, saying this was their first time.
He said the suspects will be charged to court after investigations.
