The Head of civil service of the federation, folasade Yemi-Esan has warned civil servants to desist from unwholesome practices, as government will not hesitate to invoke the provisions of the civil service laws to deal with erring staff members
Esan’s message was delivered by the Permanent Secretary, Special Duties, Faruk Yabo at a computer-based test centre in Abuja, where the head of civil service office is collaborating with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB to conduct digitalised promotion examinations.

Yabo and JAMB registrar, Professor is-haq Oloyede told newsmen the promotion examination, will involve thirteen thousand officers and is expected to take place simultaneously in 69 centres across the 36 states and Abuja.
Those sitting for the promotion examination include senior and junior cadre officers from the core civil service, the Nigeria Police, para-military and specialised agencies.
