Prelate of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ekpenyong Akpanika, says the successful conduct of the off-cycle elections in Imo, Bayelsa and Kogi States by the Independent National Electoral Commission amidst fears of insecurity is a sign of hope for Nigeria.
The Presbyterian Prelate said this during the Northwest Synod of the church on Sunday in Kaduna, the capital of Kaduna state, north west Nigeria.
He said Nigeria’s political and socioeconomic challenges are not insurmountable but the current crop of leaders in the country must give quality leadership to the country.
