The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, says the Nigerian Army is alive to its constitutional responsibilities, in combating the menace of the nation’s threats, to internal peace and security.
The Army Chief, who stated this in Kachina during the battle inoculation exercise, for the Cadet Regular Course Sixty-eight (Army), tasked the cadets to be psychologically prepared for deployment to any Theater of Operation, for counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations.

The battle inoculation, climaxed Exercise Camp Highland, of cadets’ training.
It exposed them to the fluid, chaotic and unpredictable scenarios of the battle fields.
The tactical phase of the exercise, was designed to reflect the current threats and challenges confronting the military, and other security forces in the country.
The Chief of Army Staff who also charged the cadets to be resilient, promised to support the academy with six gun trucks for training, saying the Nigerian Army is never shy of its constitutional responsibilities.
The battle inoculation is the highest standard of training, aimed to evaluate cadets’ application of tactics, techniques and procedures in operations, administration and logistics, to determine their eligibility for commissioning into the Nigerian Army.
