Commercial activities have resumed at the Beirut Road GSM Market in Kano.
The market was temporarily closed a week ago, following the collapse of an uncompleted three-storey building that left many people trapped.
The collapse of the building also resulted in the death of three persons.
A visit to the scene a week after shows that commercial activities have resumed, while the rubble from the collapsed building is being evacuated.
The Chairman of the market, Abubakar Ahmad, said the reason behind the collapse of the building is still unknown.

He said they are working with the relevant agencies, to forestall such occurrences in the future.
Ahmad, while commending well-meaning Nigerians who have visited and made donations, said they are already compiling the names of the beneficiaries.
The state government has already constituted a committee to investigate the immediate and remote cause of the building collapse.
