Commuters plying federal roads in Ekiti state have called on the relevant authorities to quickly put measures in place to improve the worsening state of federal roads in the state.
The commuters who made their position known on Saturday while speaking with newsmen along Aramoko road, in Ekiti state, said some of the road users have been stranded for over twenty four hours.
In his reaction, a member of the House of Representatives, Femi Bamisile, who is also the chairman of House committee on federal road maintenance agency confirmed the plight of the commuters .

The lawmaker urged government to listen to the agitations of motorists and other road users across the country because infrastructure development anywhere in the world is key to sustaining national economic development.
