There was Tension in Jos North local Government area of Plateau State on Saturday during the Presidential and National Assembly election when it was discovered that 240 Presidential Results sheets for Naraguta B ward, often referred to as the largest Polling Unit in Nigeria was declared missing.
The Presidential results sheets which were supposed to have been given to the Jos North electoral officer (EO) in the morning were later discovered to have been held by some returning officers who were reported to have Allegedly absconded with the result sheets till about 6:30pm after an alarm was raised.
The situation which created confusion and tension within Jos North Constituency Area was later brought under control when the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Tersoo Gundu arrived government college Jos the collation center, and promised to deliver it himself to all the 240 Polling Units.

At the time of filling this report at about 7:45pm, the REC had begun delivery of the Presidential results sheets himself after apologizing to the people and appealing for calm.
